Our chef, Jesus “Lolo” Manso wished to bring authentic churros recién hechos—churros made fresh—to New York City. As the owner and founder of Socarrat Paella Bar, Lolo jumped at the opportunity to create a cozy Spanish cafe in order to further serve something simple but authentic.
Nestled in the heart of Nolita, La Churreria still keeps with the spirit of an authentic Spanish churreria as a traditional street stand with a takeout window in addition to cafe-style seating.
